This auction is for a delightful pattern book of vintage lace crochet designs. The patterns use a small hook and size 10 crochet cotton. This is for the book, not for the finished designs.

The front of the book says that there are "18 easy designs for you to treasure." The patterns are not hard, they just look intricate. I would say this is for an intermediate level crocheter.

The book includes all the patterns, the abbreviations, advice on what threads to obtain, and how to block and stiffen the finished piece of work. I had all these grandiose ideas of making a series of the crocheted lace dolls in the shapes of goddesses, saints, and angels, and I just didn't do it. I'd rather be knitting! I'm only getting rid of this book because I simply don't have time to make everything I want to make and it is time I started downsizing. It's always been one of my favorites.
