Description

The listing, 5 Dollar Bank Notes / Canal Bank New Orleans has ended.

This is a sheet of what seems to be a copy of 1800's bank notes. They all the same except for a letter near the front right corrner that is in sequence... A, B, C, D. The whole sheet is about 12 inches long and 8 inches wide. These are not exact mesurements. I've had them since about 1987, their a cool decorative item.

Yes they do have the A,B,C,D letters listed on them, but the paper is thin, some sort of tissue like paper. They are re-prints, but they are very cool for decorations. Ramona.

For what it is worth, the seller has been pretty clear and open about the fact that these aren't real. That being said, they are still cool! They would still make a nice wall hanging, etc...

Thanks for conducting this auction in a reputable fashion, despite what NatureLovinPagan says.

BTW, be CAREFUL with NatureLovinPagan ... I made one comment on one of their auctions and they blocked me.

Pretty thin skinned.

these are either unsigned remainders or reproductions but it is hard for me to tell the difference from just looking at a scan. they are not original issued notes. honestly I don't know why people on listia get all nasty when the seller has basically described the item as accurately as possible and they are basically giving it away for a few listia credits. I have an unsigned remainder in my collection and the paper looks a little different than these. I'm just not 100% sure. I would probably say that most likely the seller has described these notes accurately. Regardless, thanks for offering this item. Cheers

Hello,
I looked through them and they are unsigned, and un-dated. There are lines where the signitures would be, and the date has 18_____.
