Issued to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the American Philatelic Society. U.S.Scott Catalog #2198-2201

It is also interesting to note that one stamp illustrates the 1986 Presidents Miniature Sheets. This was the first time that a U.S. stamp pictured another U.S. stamp that had not been issued.

Every stamp collector should have this complete set of four.
