This box was brought back from Turkey by a family member and given to me. It is ornate and beautiful There is a secret compartment shown in one pic, but the cover has been lost. also, the secret compartment that is missing the top, is that on the bottom of the box? or is it on the top where it is noticeable? thanks...sheri :-)

Hi there. The secret compartment section is in the back, in the middle as you are facing the box -it is on the right side. The opening is less than 1 in long and 1/2 in wide. I hope I am not being too confusing.
