The listing, EXTREMELY UNIQUE CANDLE SNUFFER has ended.

I found this puppy at an antiques store and paid only $8 for it. I would call it pewter, maybe tarnished silverplate? I have no clue as to whether it is vintage or reproduction. I see no maker marks. I just know it's gorgeous and unique - and it needs to go. Awesome metal embossings. Measures 7" end to end and stands 1" tall on 3 legs. Opens like scissors and a compartment door comes open. Close the door and candle fire is snuffed. Works best on pillars, as in open flames, not votive or tealight holders. What a sweet piece for a candle lover!
