Description

The listing, ~ 2 Yr. Anniversary Auction ~ Windows XP laptop w/ accessories....... has ended.

This auction is to celebrate my 2 year anniversary since joining Listia. Thanks to all that have made this such an enjoyable experience.

This is a USED/working laptop(de-branded), that does have some minor issues, and I just don't have the time to repair it. Repairs needed are as follows:
1-CMOS battery needs to be replaced.(affects system start-up settings, date & time settings)
2-Keyboard needs to be replaced.(some keys work, I usually just connect another keyboard through the on-board PS2 slot)

Other than that, this is still a decent working laptop. it has a CD and Floppy drive. As well as CardBUS and USB slots. Also has VGA and Digital/Out video connections as well as a Serial PORT for printer.

Windows XP is installed on a 5GB PATA drive and the battery will hold about an hours charge(charger is included)

*There are no on-board wireless network or Bluetooth adapters installed

Also included:
-20v/2.8amp charger
-Actiontech PCMCI 11Mbps wireless PC card
-Billabong laptop carrier/backpack
-and more to come, I will update w/ more items included.

I will be shipping this Priority mail w/ Delivery Confirmation within 48hrs from receipt of winning bidders shipping info. Thanks for your interest, lets have fun (8

If I did that then it wouldn't be an anniversary auction, I plan for this to end on the day of my 2nd Listia anniversary, thanks for your interest though (8

i am not smart concerning computers, but i'd like to know how i would know which cmos battery to get without a brand to go by?

To replace the CMOS battery the laptop will need to be taken apart, I would assume that it could be accessed by removing the bottom and exposing the motherboard. Several years ago, I removed both the DDR and HDD access panels when I added/upgraded components and did not see anything, so I'm not positive on the exact type or voltage of battery needed.

I put the one that I won that looks like this one back up on here since the guy at the computer shop said that it won't work. I put it as a parts computer. I'm hoping to win even if this one needs a minor repair. I hope nobody else bids. I so want a second computer.

Too bad it wouldn't work for you, I can guarantee that this one will work for you before, during and after any repairs are made. I have acquired a great amount of business lately and I just don't have the time to repair this one with all that I've got goin' on myself. I have a few more "for parts" laptops that may end up here as well. This was the only one that I could currently offer that was in mostly working condition. Good luck on the bids, and I, however, hope to see more bids (8

I listed in the item description that this is a de-branded laptop...........meaning there is no sign of a make or a manufacturer, however, the model Number is: 110 and the FCC ID is: NYYETNA-110

From my research I could only tell you that it more than likely is a Movita Etna 110, but could be any of these models also: Atlas Flyer 4700, Akura 110 or Xeron 110.

"Hello!
I wanted to take the time to tell you a little about the site that I have been participating in lately. The name of the site ishttp://www.points2shop.com/?ref=uin1311622333. This isn't a 'Get Free Things' site. In fact, nothing in life is free. However, this is a site that you can use to EARN things that you would otherwise have to pay for.
I know, you're probably thinking 'How is that possible!' well, it's possible because advertisers place their links on the points2shop website. Then members like myself go and complete the offers that we are interested in. When I do an offer, points2shop gets paid for bringing me to that advertisers website. When points2shop gets paid, they give me a portion of that payment so that I can then get things from Amazon.com.
If you need to know more information you can check their forums where members post the things that they have received for earning points on the points2shop website here.
Thank you for taking the time to read this information and I hope to see you earning points soon!"

You have posted these links on my auctions in the past, and I do believe that it is in violation w/ Listia policies. I don't mean to be a stickler, but I would prefer, if in fact that you are interested in my auctions, that you would keep the content of your comments related to that of auction in question.

I hope to win this laptop even if it has minor issues. It's a lot newer than the one I won. I can tell. Happy Listia anniversary. I would love to have this for my birthday which is tomorrow :-)

-JVC - Image Mixer - ver.1.7
-NERO Express - ver.5.5.9.9 w/ InCD 3.39.0
-Roxio - Back on Track 3 LE - I believe that this is a backup utility.

I have decided to include a Logitech webcam that does not seem to be compatible w/ Windows 7, I do not use XP, so I can only assume that it is compatible. I used it several years ago with a Linux laptop I had, back before the day of integrated webcams, Thanks again everyone, there is still more to come!!!!!!!!....................lets see some bids..................woot, woot (8
