hello i just found this piece , in my mom's stuff belonged to my grandmother this was framed but removed for shipping to the winning bidder if you love doily's you love this one for sure very unique and rare!!

Truly Beautiful! I still make doilies and have this pattern and can tell you this one is more complex than it looks.The skirt is the easiest part as the hat is done in 2 sections,the torso and sleeve are one but each flower is started seperately then connected on the last round.. All parts are then crocheted together and the whole thing is repeated in reverse. You can tell front from back so the entire piece is made in reverse so the stitching looks the same Grandma was a pro at her craft!
