Swan Gourd Seeds (6 seeds)

An attractive gourd reminiscent of swans. Its skin color is dark green, and its light green speckles change to tan when dried. 10" to 12" from curve in neck to base of fruit. Very pretty when painted. Plant can be grown on the ground or trellis. Have fun growing!

Annual, plant depth 1/2", thin to 6', full sun, germination 10 to 20 days, maturity 100 to 120 days.

Garden tip: For best germination, nick the seedcoat. Soak in lukewarm water for 24 hours before planting. Best to plant in soil temperature is 65 degrees or higher.

Drying tip: Pick gourds when entire vine is dry and brown. Handle gently and turn weekly as gourds dry in warm, airy place. Do not cut or decorate until completely dry and seeds rattle.
