That is all you need for backyard wars. It shoots a good 75 feet before it drops or swerves.

This only shoots 6mm plastic bb's and 6mm paintball bb's (not your standard paintball). If the paintballs you have in mind are the size of marbles then no this gun cannot shoot them. If the paintballs are roughly the size of a tic tac then yes. Hope this helps!

these are ilegal in some states, and as stated in his description it can leave welts on people, so it can be considered a weapon!

Airsoft guns are considered toys not firearms by law regardless. They require an orange tip so that it is easily identified. They are also legal in ALL 50 states. There are plenty of things more dangerous that can cause more than welts and they're not illegal: forks, knives, saws, hammers, rocks, sticks, batons, pencils, you cant just make something illegal because it CAN hurt someone.

they do leave welts but i do think they are considerd toy because of the orange tip as howtosavealife stated. they are extremly fun and cheap to play with! and if leaving a welt makes it a wepon then i guess im a wepon and illeagal in some states? also i guess a cant associate with minor's even though i am one? i can leave welts break bones or even kill some one! the world would be a better place of more people had guns, then those idiots would think twice about comminting a crime if they knew everyone had a gun on them. but i guess this is not a debate page but i cant stand to see people argue when there aurguments are false. sorry if this is not what you were lookin for Howtosavealife.

lol my son is 7.we got it for his bday present and he only plays with it when we around but he loves it and i dont feel it a threat at all.my husband and his brother shot each other with it to see what it felt like and it stung for a sec and left a welt
