The sister sewing machine?....which means a general universal manual for brother sewing machines. If you look at the pics, it gives you a general idea how the book relates in general...

Every sewing machine manual by Brother is for specific models, though some may cover more than one model when they are very similar. Do you know what model machine it came with? It is often on the front of the machine but definitely on the bar code tag that shows the country of make and serial number. The title page should also show the model(s) this is for. It shows hooped embroidery on the cover, so was your machine an embroidery/sewing machine? Thanks.
