This is way cool! I'm glad to see you're still here too! I may pm you later with some questions about some of our older acquaintances on listia. I go to garage sales to look for stuff like nails and tools (already done), costume jewelry (already done), linens (already done), towels, etc. for the cats...? And small things to hang on the kitchen walls like chalk fruit.. thank you cards - always looking for them, books...everything has been pretty much covered here so far...Great idea, really!

Oh those that know me know that I like to stuff and i really mean STUFF the heck out of the flat rate boxes , it defeats the purpose of a flat rate if your not going to stuff it where its bulging out the sides and you need a grip of tape to hold the sucker shut! I like my boxes filled to the brim and stuffed FULL of good wonderful useable things no Junk! So you wont find junk in this box,and the "junk" jewelry does not count!

How about unused make up of used or unused purse, woman's or man's billfold or wallet, Money left in it would be good ..lol...anything new that you got for a gift that someone could re-gift, salt and pepper shakers, puzzle, board games, toys for boy of girls, office supplies such as pens, pencils, post-its, markers, crafting stuff, anything Little Pet Shop Or Lalaloopsy, Ty beanies, unopened Mcdonald's toys would get high bids. I personally like knick knacks that are miniatures, small tiny ceramic, brass or made of anything that about the size of a quarter. These are just suggestions. Seems like crafts and toy and old stuff sells well here. If it were heavy I would wrap your breakables well because post office machines wreak havoc on breakables. Great auction. Fantastic idea.

WOW!!! This is the first Yard Sale on-line I've ever come across, and I think it's the greatest idea. Kudos to you Taintedstrawberries, what name do you prefer to go by?
Just call me barb, please. What about some towels and wash clothes, I look for practle things at yard sales. Kitchen towels and pot holders, sponges only new ones please. plastic cups and plates or plastic ware cause the summer is on the way and we do a lot of back yard eating....a table cloth (disposable) aluminam pans to cook on the grill with. Just a few things that have come to my mind.

Death of A Legend
Please join me in remembering a great icon of the
entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died
yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from being repeatedly poked in the belly. He was 71.
Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of
celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.
Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described
Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was
kneaded. Born and bread in Minnesota, Doughboy rose
quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with
turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times, he lived to be a crusty old man and was considered a positive roll model for millions.
Doughboy is survived by his wife, Play Dough, three children--John Dough, Jane Dough, and Dosey Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart.
The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

P.S. If this made you smile for even a brief second, please rise to the occasion and take time to pass it on and share that smile with someone else who may be having a crumby day and kneads a lift!
