Be a perfect gift, for my hubby's birthday!! Fanned and Watching!! =)
Welcome to Listia I too have been w/ebay for years. Then my son told me about this site. It is so nice to do the barter thing for a change. I have met many very nice honest people here. However just like ebay there are spam/scammers. If you do not get a reply within a resonable amount of time. Chances are pass on it. Also if you pay shipping just be careful on the newbie's I had one that took $$ and not ship nor respond to emails. I will get my credits but $$ may not. I love your bank and am watching this until it closer to closing. Good Luck!
HI, HOW does a person span on here, are you saying I can bid but and the points will go to them, and then I wouldn't get my item?..I'm listing more and more, only cause I realized that I can't win anything with the amount of credits I have. So have to get more. I didn't understand about if i don't get a reply pass on it. can you explain more. and right now, i'm only bidding on free ship items. I have lots to list but because of free ship, i too am only listing light weight for shipping, don't want to be out too much. gl on the bank CD
Re: scammers on Listia, I too have been scammed here, paid my credits and didn't get my item. Listia covers all bids tho, so then you file a dispute which is with every completed auction that you can refer to, then it takes about 7 days and if there is no contact to Listia from the seller, Listia gives you your credits back. Putting it all into perspective, there's a lot more successful auctions with respectable sellers than not. When I first got on Listia I bid accidentally on a few auctions that required a shipping fee. What a hassle, not only does everything take longer but those were the very sellers that had items not as advertised, broken, cheap, etc, or never delivered at all. To heck with that, I now belong to the FREE SHIPPING ONLY CLUB. lol. Another factor, my auctions have always been and always will be FREE so then why would I want to turn around and pay other sellers shipping for them? Not to mention those sellers turn around and bid on my auctions and expect FREE shiping from me. That's like paying double.....no way, I'm not gonna be there chump and I resent it when others frequent their auctions encouraging them. OK, rant over!
