This phone has some wear and tear, Still works good though. Back cover plate is not secure that is why the zebra cover comes with it. As long as the cover is snapped closed everything works fine. Also included is charger and battery.

What kind of wear and tear? Anything real bad or just some scuffs

The wear and tear is outside scuffs. The back has some of the silver coating flaking off, On the techical side, everything works, no sticky keys, screen is good no cracks in it.

Is the battery cover broken or the phone itself? Why won't the back stay on?

Ok the story on the back cover, one of the small tips on the side of cover has snapped off. Its the part the slides under a section of the phone casing that keeps the back locked down. If the snap on cover is snapped in place, it does not effect the phone functions a bit. The battery is great, I found I would have to put it on the charger once every other day. I had gone as long as 3 days before putting on the charger. I have never had a phone with such a strong battery as this one.

You could always order a new cover and that would keep you from having to put a cover over it. The phone is pearl white. Its a good working phone

The battery cover is ok, it just doesnt lock down properly
