The nugget assay; (An assay is an analysis designed to measure and test the composition in ore, alloys, and precious metals. With respect to precious metals, specifically silver and gold, it is a way to make sure that all the coins or bars produced in a mint meet the correct purity standards and content.) from 77-86% pure not 24KT – (24 KT is man made, not natural) - because they are natural they may contain other minerals. The nugget you are bidding on is an Authentic Alaskan Yukon BC Nugget, promised to me to be tested to be 17 – 23 Kt Pure.

It is described as Alaskan Yukon BC nugget because it was found in Atlin, BC Canada about 50 miles as the crow flies from Skagway Alaska where the miners of the 1898 Klondike gold rush traveled through to reach the gold fields.

Nugget is Pictured with a U.S. Quarter just for size comparison. Quarter is not part of the auction.
