I'm from Alabama and I love where I'm from. Everybody pulls together if their neighbor gets sick and has crops to get in. If their is death in the family people bring food over and help with funeral expenses if they didn't have life insurance. The thing I don't like is how people perceive Alabama people. It seems like everyone thinks we all marry our cousins and have rotten teeth or uneducated. Last year when the tornadoes came through and the state was devastated everyone pulled together but there are parts of the state that are still not back together. Seemed like they portrayed the worst educated people with tooth decay, torn clothes and no shoes on. We aren't like that. There are a few of those in every state. But Southern people are good people and we aren't like we are portrayed in the media. Roll tide! Great auction!

I'm from Kansas...to be honest I don't like it. Born and raised in the capital of Kansas. I lived in Alabama for a short while, I miss it so much. Like Deborah105 said, Alabaman's are such nice people. Love the hospitality. As for Texas...I've been. I knew a guy who moved there and left all his personal belongings at his mom's house in Kansas. He asked his brother and I too take it too him (ALL EXPENSES PAID). He hooked up the trailer and we hit the road. Loved it in Texas. Fanned/watching/possibly bidding if I have enough credits when this gets closer to ending.

Love your auction, Love your little Avatar Guy, Love Listia, and especially love your positive attudite. Never let that die. I am wondering if it would be alright to steal some of your rules. Stated nicely, except I allow promoting, when it is appropriated. Don't think I will have enough credits, but have fanned and Watching.

I use to not mind if people promoted their auctions on mine. I would go check them out myself, but I had people use me and my auction who didn't give a care about what I was auctioning and never intended to watch or bid. They just saw that it had high credits or lots of people watching and they would just throw their auction advertisement on my comments without asking, so I had to stop
it. Some people can be so self centered, crooked and mean. It's sad that nice people can't be as nice as they would like to be because people like that.
