I don't know I really think they are faux.I was given a broken necklace from my mother-in-law so I've been making earrings out of them.

Oh alright! Yes actually, just from the looks of them, I would say they are more than likely also genuine! I actually used to work, The Pearl Factory, when I lived in Las Vegas, and although we had all types of jewelry, we obviously specialize in pearls! So I have a pretty good eye for what are real Pearls, and what are Pearls, when I can see them in person close enough!

But one way that I learned to test for real pearls when working there, and it's basically almost foolproof, is the Teeth Test! Haha!

It has yet to fail me once, so I would always tell anyone and everyone, to rub them along their teeth, when they would ask me, "How do you know if it's real or fake pearl?"

But that Gold Color Tone they have to their color and luster is so stunning, and definitely looks natural! I never really like Dyed Pearls, as it always gave them a really superficial look, in my opinion at least!
