The listing, 2002 Upper Deck Vintage Aces Johnny Sain Jersey has ended.

Johnny Sain pitched for the Boston Braves 1946-1951, then was traded to the New York Yankees for Lew Burdette. Sain pitched for the New York Yankees 1951-1955. Sain helped the New York Yankees win the World Series in 1951-1953.

Sain faced Bob Feller in Game One of the 1948 World Series. After Sain pitched, he became a pitching coach. Sain teamed up with Warren Spahn. It was Spahn, Sain and pray for rain. 1948 marked the first time the Braves made it to the World Series since 1914, which was won by the "Miracle" Boston Braves.

Ironically, Lew Burdette helped the Milwaukee Braves win the 1957 World Series and lose the 1958 World Series against the New York Yankees.

In 1995, the Atlanta Braves won the World Series against the Cleveland Indians. Cleveland has not won a World Series since 1948, when they beat the Boston Braves in six games.
