Could you please tell me the difference between a pentacle and a pentagram.?My 30yr old daughter and I want to enter into it but only the good side.I won last week a unisex ring of pentacles in which the pentacles were connected together and that made up the ring.I am looking at the ring you have listed and for a long pair of earrings to match.Please if you could tell me the difference I would be forever greatful.Thankyou LovesDesperado

pentagram, in essence, simply means 5 pointed-figure and pentacle is the technical term for a star within a circle. they're actually the same thing, just in different positions. pointing up, the pentacle is associated more with paganism and Wicca. however, when pointed down in its inverted position, the encircled pentagram is synonymous with modern Satanism. all in all, theyre both the same shape with similarly dark legacies. hope this was able to answer your question ^^ this ring will be mine xD
