Questions & Comments
Someone would have to let you use them in a private game. These are actually the "This is Your Big Day" Happy Birthday promotional dice put out by Phillip Morris in 2007.
Because I collect them. =) I do a daily search on here for these. I have at least one original box, and quite a few puches. There is also another set like these that I look for. But, they are named "Sobriety Dice." I can't locate the set or two I have of those right now. But the pouch in your pic matches the pouches that I have. That's not to say that when I find out where the other got stuffed away, thay they wouldn't have a similar pouch, But, I do know that the PM 'Your Day' set is more common. I knwo most of mine are the PM set, becasue all but one of mine have the dice rules card inside the pouch, and PM copywrited it. So, with all of the evidence on that side of the scale, I went with that. I'm 90% sure. And you thought I just made it all up, didn't you? LOL!
well i wasnt sure how you knew this cuz i just thought they were regular gambling dice and i never use them so i figured i would sell them. but thanks for the info now i know wat they r lol
Well, and I don't know if you noticed, but I also live in Las Vegas. I can guarantee you they aren't for use in a casino. That's wht I mentioned maybe in a private game. But, people who run those, prefer to suppliy their own gaming supplies so they don't have to worry about being cheated. Regular dice are acrylic and their weight is checked and monitored buy the gaming commission. Everything here is monitored by the gaming comission. Lol! So, thanks a bunch for listing these. I have my fingers crossed that this pair will be added to my collection very soon. Have a great day!
They aren't "gambling" dice. Just regular six-sided metal die. Go to your local gaming store and you'll likely find a selection of metal dice (including the new "irondie" game) that range from pewter, silver-plated, gold-plated, nickel, and gilt. Its usually the collectors that are after them because they are a little heavy to play with and will scratch up your table.
