925 silver also says 5 nv. I searched mother of pearl and it seems to have the same quality of colors if anyone has insight please let me know, i found this ring on the ground one day and I cleaned it up, very beautiful ring! thanks for looking!

No, it's a real part of shell. I can't remember what kind though. I think it's about kn the same price range. Mother of pearl might be a little more expensive than Abalone. Either way they are both found in shell and are equally beautiful.

It might be Abalone. Which sometimes can looks like mother of pearl on parts of it. But I'm not totally sure either. this is a gorgeous ring and I will bid on it. Thanks.
