This plant is called a tree, but is really more of a bush. It is a type of eggplant, though it does not taste like one. It will produce 10-30 small, egg-sized fruits which have a very nice melon flavor. They can be eaten raw, cooked, fried, etc. I've had a 100% germination with the seeds I've planted! This is a great novelty plant!Note: This is NOT the Easter Egg Plant, which is not edible!
Also note, these egg fruits cannot be poached, scrambled, or deviled! ;-)
