Hi. It's very flexible, but I'll measure it, hold on let me get the tape measure ... ok, it's about 2 and 3 quarter inches, give or take. It's really flexible, though and stretch out or curl smaller. Nice bracelet.

I think you are right. This is an older one for sure. It has the little raised buttons that face the inner wrist.

No back story, really. My Grandmother passed (aged 92 10 years ago) and was a collector of stuff, this may have been in her stash, or it could've been a bracelet I picked up at a second hand shop. Granny and I loved to collect interesting things. Joseph left a comment that it is a copper bracelet like he sells for relief of arthritis and other physical maladies - I've had it a long time and it is an older bracelet. I would not call it antique - I would say it's probably about 40 years old or so.

Thank you! it is beautiful! with my 6" wrists, it is difficult to find bracelets, even cuffs, as the constant bending weakens most metals, but I am watching this closely, bet I could squeeze it just enough to slip on like a bangle and leave it there....fingers x'd! How fun with your G'ma! Mine liked to go on "ROADTRIPS" just her and I...she passed in 03 @ 94. I miss her so!
