i think its made of ivory. i found this in the bottom of an old box of my grams stuff in the basement.i am spring cleaning, i'll be posting more as i am able, work! work! work!

it looks like someone attached a tiny metal clasp to make into a pendant! wow! i needed my reading glasses to see that! awesome detail!dr.rodriguez always said to point an elephant facing a door or window for good luck, she was funny.

Most of these are made of bone, it has been illegal to sell Ivory for a very long time now, so they started making these of whale or camel bone because it was so close to Ivory... I have some that look much like this, so very small and so very cute....

awesome, i thought it was since it was in a very old box packed for over 12 yrs since my dad passed away,and prob,50 before that! i didnt have the heart to unpack stuff,and it couldve even been my grams as the house has been in our fam since the 1800's, thank you and i will fan ya back. :-)
