Up for bids is a 2008 Bald Eagle Commemorative Clad Proof Half Dollar. Specifications are below:
Mint: San Francisco
Weight: 11.340 grams
Diameter: 1.205 inches
Composition: 8.33% Nickel, Balance Copper
Mintage Limit: 750,000.
Obverse of the Coin: Baby Eaglets at about two or three days of age, settled in a nest with an unhatched egg.
Reverse: Features the famous Bald Eagle "Challenger" with the American Flag in the background.

Yeah - I can't believe some people would actually think because it does not contain Silver that it's valueless. Like the examples you mentioned. And there are thousands more.

beautiful coin buddy :) and for the person that said that it has no value because it is silver clad ...ummmm .... some of the most expensive coins are not made from silver ... so a 1909 s vdb or an 1877 copper indian head cent is valueless lol ... wow ... what a statement ... why do people say such things on others auctions ... make them look like a jerk ... oh well ... ignorance is bliss I guess lol

It is a legal tender US Mint comemrative proof. How could you possibly say that it has no value. Proof and uncirculated.
