I am not positive they are diamonds(they were a gift), but the jewels are so small i would believe them to be so.

on the back of the stones, does it have holes in the silver ?? if its real diamond they need holes to breathe

Last piece of jewelry i auctioned off was a real pearl set... i thought the clasps were fake/or gold plated and the winner later informed me they were 14k gold. (shows how much I know about jewelry)

theres no way to tell what metal is it other than acid test and i dont know how to do that. I agree its a very nice piece of jewellery
