Description

The listing, 1964 50 cent piece in a pendant!!! Super unique!! has ended.

Came across this super coin while out antique shopping,,, it has a ring around the coin which if anything keeps the ridges in perfect condition and was worn as a pendant!!! This is Canadian and dated 1964. I have researched this and at this time is worth $15.50 minimum and with costs rising could be worth more....i haven't studied if there are any unusual markings or characters which we all know can make a coin's value go up. I am putting in a gin as i know other items on listia can go super high for regular items and hope that you find my gin is reasonable.

Please give info as soon as possible i am making this a longer day auction so others have a chance to see and save to bid .and hope to have this mailed out next day. Please do not bid if not serious as i won't refund credits. I am starting this bid at 100 to help since i provide free shipping always. And again depending on location please allow adequate mailing times, some things both in canada and us have shipped in really good times and some have taken 2 weeks or a bit more depending on location and postal services. This will be shipped via regular mail, and if in the states i do fill a customs form, also can you please let me know when item is received as it is important to keep a positive feedback and i can feel better knowing the item made it. Thanks and happy bidding.

Here is a bit of info i got off a coin site today. In recent months the value of silver has risen dramatically and is now significantly affecting the base price at which we can offer silver half dollars. At the time I am writing this silver is over $41.31 per ounce (Canadian funds) there is currently over $14.45 worth of silver in the sterling (92.5% silver) examples struck between 1870 and 1919, and $12.40 worth of silver in the 80% silver examples struck from 1920 to 1967. Considering the time and costs involved in listing, processing payments, and then shipping them, the base price at which I can afford to list even the commonest dates of between 1870 and 1919 is $17.00 (generally not a problem for dates before 1908) and between 1920 and 1967 is $15.50. Examples worth less than that we send out to recover the silver. These base prices will change as the price of silver changes and I will make adjustments as need be.
