This auction is for a western digital hard drive, box says wd caviar se hard drive 320 gb eide. dont know much about it bought it a while back and found out could not use it for my computer. only took out of wrap once and was never attached to computer

it says eide hard drive on it not usb so im assuming ide. honestly i dont know a whole lot about these things lol i posted up there what the package said on it about it but i will try my best to answer all questions

Look like a standard Blue WD 320 Gig PATA / IDE 3.5 HDD for your standard Desktop PC . DOES That help everyone? Good.NAd young man if possible I'd take some clearer pictures and update if possible and also look in the middle section of the label on the drive itself and check the date on it so peeps know how much of teh 5 yr warrenty is left on it as well IF anything goes wrong after install.

april 13 2008 is the date like i said ive had this for a while and do not know a whole lot about it i will do my best to make sure all are satisfied with pics and answers

SO it does only have a 1 yr replacement warrenty on this.

Thats from the date of mfc and if thats the case then teh drive is already out of warrenty.

unfortunately it probably is it should be all in working condition but it was never installed so i cannot say.

anthonyjeantuttle ide is PATA or before sata came out its not a SATA drive lets repeat that for everyone so we have that out of the the way THIS IS NOT A SATA DRIVE this is an IDE you would find in a PC about 7 Yrs ago normally as part of a standard issue drive. Ok? ACES !

@brubenne Also consider that where it may not have been used much, the drive *is* out of warrenty and if say if it does by some odd chance fails you are out of your points and you are out of luck. Ihill3812 has it up on the auction because h doesn't need it and that fact that its also an IDE not a SATA so with said you've been warned.
