you plug it into your usb port and it allows you to write/draw etc. using the included stylus pen. i've used it in photoshop, microsoft word, paints, word pad. and even playing games.
just the writing tablet, drivers are pre-installed in the device so that when you plug it in it installs automatically. The only discs it came with was a trial version of a font program and a version of Corel that did not work.
Can I write a letter on this and have it go to the word processor? You say it uses youtube? how does that work, I am in you tube all the time when not on here.
I did not say it "works on youtube" lol I posted a youtube link to someone who wanted to see a video of it. However to answer all questions this device works in the same way a laptop mouse pad works you can use it to navigate on your desktop or while browsing online you can use it to highlight, select, or enter fields. You CANNOT use this to write letters or enter TEXT UNLESS you have a program that functions with this tablet. This tablet is a DEVICE and not SOFTWARE it comes with built in drivers which are a list of definitions that allow the device to be recognized by a computer. Software for doing things like writing notes or letters is not part of the Wacom Bamboo tablet package. There are a multitude of online businesses that offer such software and a quick google search will turn up results. If there are any further questions before the end of this auction please read all comments and replies by all users including myself PRIOR to asking question. thanks and best luck bidding :)
the font and corel software did not work, so we got rid of them and when the tablet is plugged into the usb port it automatically installs the drivers, and has you go through a short tutorial :)
