Offered for bidding are two (2!) rescued vintage illustrations from a 1914 Prang Art Instruction book. I have several Prang drawing and art books that are badly damaged and falling apart, and I'm rescuing some of lovely pages for your bidding pleasure.

'Girl and Cow' by Theodore Robinson. On a vintaged yellowed page, it is in excellent antique condition and the colors are vibrant. 'Reproduced direct from original color photography' in the early 1900s; 'By special permission Metropolitan Museum New York.' The back has a 'Picture Study' of the piece with a short bio on the artist.

'Gossip' by Carl Marr. Also on a nicley vintaged yellowed page, the image and surrounding inch is in very good antique condition and the colors are vibrant. 'Reproduced direct from original color photography' in the early 1900s; 'By special permission Metropolitan Museum New York.' The back has a 'Picture Study' of the piece with a short bio on the artist.

Printing on back of pages does not show through, as the paper stock is thick and dense. Both pages measure nearly 8" by 10" (slightly less) and have ruffled edges and a few stains along the sides on 'Gossip,' but both can be matted and framed with all captions. They have no scents and come to you clean from a non-smoking pet-free home!

Quite beautiful late-1800s reproductions, vintage-1914 prints. Both will be packaged carefully and shipped free to US addresses!
