Albert Fish was everyone's idea of a kindly grandfather. He had a disarming, gentle smile. He was a steady churchgoer known to pray regularly. He was the careful and conscientious father of six and grandfather of five. He was the kind of man you would be pleased to have visit your home and play with your children.

Then he was arrested, and he confessed to the murder of little Grace Budd. WHICH WAS JUST THE BEGINNING!

The tip of the iceberg in an incredible true story described by psychiatrists as one "of UNPARALLELED PERVERSITY!"

• A child rapist & cannibal, he boasted that he "had children in every state", totaling about 100. 
• At age 12, Fish practiced urolagnia (drinking urine) and coprophagia (eating feces).
• By 1890, Fish became a prostitute and began raping, torturing, mutilating, and murdering children, mostly boys younger than age 6. Using "implements of Hell": a meat cleaver, a butcher knife, & a small handsaw, he soon developed a taste for cannibalism, sometimes serving it to his children.
• "I whipped his bare behind till the blood ran from his legs. I cut off his ears, nose & slit his mouth from ear to ear. Gouged out his eyes. Then I stuck the knife in his belly, held my mouth to his body & drank his blood."
• In 1898, Fish married Anna Mary Hoffman & had 6 children: Albert, Anna, Gertrude, Eugene, John, & Henry.
• 1910, Fish tortured 19-year-old, mentally handicapped Thomas Kedden. He eventually tied him up and cut off half of his *****. "I shall never forget his scream, or the look he gave me!," Fish recounted fondly. He then poured peroxide over the wound, wrapped it in a Vaseline-covered handkerchief, left a $10 bill, kissed Kedden goodbye & left."
• (Pic #8) Fish indulged in self-harm. X-rays revealed he had 29 self-embedded needles lodged in his pelvic region.
• He also hit himself repeatedly with a nail-studded paddle & inserted wool doused with lighter fluid into his anus & set it alight.
