This is a 5 by 5 inch hard surface rotary cutting mat. I never cut on this mat, so the surface is in perfect condition. The only thing I used it for was tracing lines, so the edges have permanent marker on them. Other than that, perfect never used condition. Free shipping to US!

Do you think you could use an exacto knife on it or is it only for a rotary cutter?

I actually bought it for cutting out stencils with an exacto. Ended up being too small for my purposes, but it would definitely work for that. It's not self-healing, though- the surface is hard.
