15 spider flower seeds! GIN and You'll get 40 Spiderflower seeds harvested in the fall. Good for 2018.

It's amazing that these tall, dramatic flowers are only an annual. Once temperatures warm up, it zooms up to 4-5 feet and produces large balls of flowers with fascinating whorls of long seedpods. As a cut flower, it's very pretty, but falls apart easily after a few days. It typically self-seeds prolifically, so you'll only have to plant it once.
Also, it develops oddly large thorns, so it's best to keep Spiderflower away from walkways.

Plant established seedlings in spring after all danger of frost has passed. Cleome does best in moderately rich, well-drained soil. * Be careful about fertilizing and excess shade or you'll have very tall floppy plants. Group in clusters of 6 or more for best effect.

Light: Full Sun, tiny bit of shade
Type: Annual, (perennial in zones 10-11)
Height: 3-6 feet tall
Distance between established seedlings : 18 +inches
