Phyllis is not a name you hear often, I agree - I don't believe I ever actually met another Phyllis - named for my grandfather, Philip. I lost my mommie 30 years back and I still want to call her and tell her things.

me too, lets see i was 18 when she died and i'm 51 now, demenshea keeps me from figuring , lol she was only 40 years old, but was fighting it for 5 years, so she was young , at around 35 when she got it, and she was raising 8 children by her self, it was very hard on her, i think thats why she died so early in life , she was always very sickly. ty for the read, were all thinking alot of our moms right now cause of mothers day, it make us sad. ( bless them all who have lost there moms in there lifes.)

your mom sounds like a wonderful person - my mom lived to 65 and was a heavy smoker - think she had a stroke of some sort - went fast - not sure which is best - fast with no time to say goodbye but no suffering either - or slowly when you get to comfort one another - actually there is no better way, we play the hand we are dealt and do the best we can - it's a man's world, but God evened the deal when He made us mothers
