This is an Apollo IX aluminum coin, I have never seen another like it & I've had it since I was a kid.

On one side it says Appolo IX with the names McDivitt, Scott, & Schweickart

On the other it reads Man in Space

I believe it is a token dedicating that particular event. I know I've never seen it as a coin. Hope that helps.

I've seen other coins like this..mainly bronze or silver....this is aluminum (cheap)
