What are PONY BEADS?

Well if your into beading you already know.

They are round barrel like shapped beads with the center hollowed out. They are easy for a child to get a larger size string threw. That is why I feel they are the best to use for children who want to start out beading. They are also brightly colored most of the time.

I have 5 grandchildren ages 12 - 4 and one time or another they all have had a chance to do beading with grandma. this is what we started out with.

We made bracelets and neclaces. They were quite easy to do and they kids had a great time making them. These beads can also be used to decorate a small purse or felt Holiday Gift. There is actually a lot of things that can be done with them if someone has a good imagination.

This bad hold #400 beads and says for ages 5+
Definately not for children under 5 or anyone who might put it in their mouth and choke on it.
