This came out of my Acer Aspire 8943G-9319 notebook when I replaced it with one that had built in bluetooth capabilities... Used for about a month.

Just to clarify it's actually the newer (and more common) Mini-PCI Express. Check compatibility with your computer BEFORE bidding please.

That would depend on your netbook... but my guess is no, it wouldn't. Most netbooks are made as inexpensively as possible. So manufacturers build the parts onto a single board or two to save the little extra it would cost to have a separate card plus socket.
