Own the Complete Set of Universal Postal Union Airmail Stamps. This expertly engraved set of three stamps was issued to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the formation of the Universal Postal Union. The #C42 stamp features the Post Office Department Building. The second stamp in this set pictures a globe and doves, symbolic of airmail service delivering letters around the world. And the third stamp pictures a Boeing Stratocruiser traveling over the Pacific Ocean.

The Universal Postal Union was founded as an independent international agency with headquarters in Byrne, Switzerland. This Postal Union is presently a specialized agency of the United Nations and is dedicated to improving international postal service.
