Nope, is not currently working. HAS worked in the last six months but problem has not been diagnosed. Serial number free and clear.

it HAS turned on and charged fully ONE time out of....four intensive attempts. I had no problems during the time the battery had power. Once it ran out, i have not had success when plugging into laptop. The single successful attempt came after i had used it with the computer it had originally been registered with. I have had this ipod in my possesion for nine months. No drops, slams, bumps or drownings. None before that. It was passed to me with the knowledge I would be facing a conundrum.

not a problem. Tho i feel bad the explanation is so hazy. I haven't had the time or patience to sit long enough to work out what the problem might be. Better it leave me in a safe package than be thrown against a tree.........or a poor cow in frustration.
