I don't think there will be much competition here on Listia as far as bidding goes for dreadlock products! I'll keep listing some for a bit so my super dready fans can get a chance to get a super deal on their dread products!

Like I told her just call/ email/ write anytime concerning any dreadlock questions you might have..I've had dreads for about five years now. I've worn synthetic dreads before, had natural dreads, and now have natural dreads with human hair extenders on them. I'm here to help if you need it! I have lots of hints regarding dreadlock products and dreadlocks in general.

Thanks, so much! After mulling over the decision, I finally got up the nerve to get locs. Mine are only about a month old, so I'm still fairly new to the journey. But I love them more and more everyday, I do have questions sometimes though, so I will definitely hold on to your information if and whenever I need advice.

how much would shipping be to the u.k? and fanned!! can't believe theres someone with dread products on here!! been looking for a good wax for weeks now but all the shops for miles around me have petroleum based ones which i've been told no wax is better than petroleum based wax as its too greasy and will make them slip out, is this true by the way? x

Hi! :)
Thanks for asking! I will go to the Post Office in the morning to give you a shipping quote for this. It shouldn't be a whole whole lot. As far as using petroleum based wax- in my experience (I tried it once a long while ago when first dreading my own hair) the petroleium wax was indeed WAY WAY too greasy for my hair. I think the petroleium based wax is better for some hair types but not for others. I did not use that kind of wax again. Also the wax I used (Murrays Hair Wax) seemed to be made from almost all petroleum and not much beeswax even though the label said beeswax on it. So it didn't hold my dreads together. Now, please understand this type of wax is better suited for some hair types and not others so I am not bashing petroleum based wax. I found it did not work for my hair. My dread wax kind of harder and so you just scrape a wee bit out of the jar with you fingernail, rub it in between the palms to soften it, then apply by palm rolling or such onto your dreads. Very little is needed and it is not as greasy at all as the petroleum based brands. I will get a shipping quote for you in the morning! :)
