The listing, 1000 Pop/ Beer Tabs for "CREATIVITY has ended.

You read that right " 1000" tabs.

When you click on VIEW LARGER, the picture are small, So if you just click on each photo, they are really easier to see. Hope you take a peak.

The pictures of the items made up are just to show some of the awesome items "OTHERS" have made. I do not make things, I supply the tabs "ONLY"

FYI....
If you do not send your confirmed address to me within 7 days of auction ending, I will re-list the item and you will lose your credits.

As per listia rules, I will not accept address's through E-Mail, if an address is sent via E-Mail message then it will be ignored, I only ship to Listia Verified Address's.

Shar9, Seriously? I'd like to see your proof, an actual receipt for a 2 liter bottle of tabs saying $300 or $400. Sounds like another urban myth, and thats a whopper. If tabs were this valuable people would be moving to Cali and supporting themselves just by collecting tabs. LOL Tabs are worth on average about $1 for a 2 liter bottle. As President of the Tampa Bay Recycle Club I am well versed in values on all metals including aluminum and the aluminum in tabs is not worth any more than the aluminum in the can. The real value is in repurposing tabs through jewelry making and other clever crafts and that is why I commend those on Listia who hold tab auctions to speed crafters on their way. Tis a pity there are so many urban myths (see snopes.com) concerning tabs, it's a bit amusing and a lot annoying to keep hearing them through these last 10 years, which is how long this has been going on.

Ya know, it occurs to me that a cottage industry could grow out of this. Imagine a startup business and all the many products that could be created out of tabs with tab donations from the community. The best part, creating local jobs, putting people back to work!

Your auction is a gold mine!!! Yes just a fyi, here in california we save a 2 liter soda bottle and fill it up with the tabs you are auctioning off, (which takes forever) then take them to a local recycling center and for a full 2 liter bottle I get $300-$400. Yes you read that right. Those tabs are a pure form of alumminum while cans are not. I think you should look into this where you live because here in Sacramento that is lots of money!!! Good Luck

You know the giant water bottles for water coolers? I filled one with these tabs, took it back and got a WHOPPING $4.00. Yes, it's different than the can itself, but it's nearly worthless. I don't care where you are, I can't imagine the difference from $4.00 to $300 per state and seeing that I took back about 5 times what you claim got hundreds. But maybe it's true, I am in NY afterall. LOL

Only reason I took them back because someone told me it was worth like 20-30 bucks, so I said hey why not. I was ***** I only got 4 bucks. It wasn't even worth the time loading it and the gas money to get rid of it. There used to be a bunch of drunks next door, they saved the caps, and when they moved I guess they where too feeble to pick up the jar so I took it back lol

Fanned & watching. These are all great and unique ideas for using those pull-tabs.
I'm in Canada and have recently started saving the pull-tabs myself. The local Children's Hospital can redeem them (I believe 1,000,000) for a free wheelchair.
You have a fabulous idea here though, if I had known before I agreed to save them I'd probably list them as well.

Wow you have a lot of great ideals, I wish I had enough credits to bid on these, I'm collecting them for the Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham Alabama, my Daughter has been staying there since Oct. 7th last year when she gave birth to our Granddaughter she was a premie weighing only 1pd. 7 oz. she now weighs 9 pds. but has a feeding tube and is on oxygen. sorry for rambling so. I never ever knew you could make sop many gorgeous things with pop/beer tabs. Truly creative people will find a way! That purse in pic #7 is beautiful!
We don't drink much soda, so I guess I would have to get them from you ;)
Great auction and great ideas. Charities are great but so is creativity.

these tabs dont weigh all that much to turn in for 25-30 cents a lb lol..what you should do it give them to charity,these are used for kidney foundation to help people!
