The listing, SILVER PLATED stamped .925”, SWIRL 7 ½” BRACELET has ended.

SILVER PLATED stamped .925”, SWIRL 7 ½” BRACELET-READ FULL DESCRIPTION
Free shipping. Read all before you bid.
Due to previous negative experiences I stand by the following statements. If you do not agree please DO NOT BID.
I like to be polite and kind, but I will only answer questions not covered in the description or photos. So please read carefully. If auctions listed read “silver tone or plated stamped .925”, that is exactly what I see and says on the item. I’m not a metals expert, nor do I have the tools for testing these items, so for that reason, I will never claim is .925 sterling silver. If I am 100% certain, I will make that statement “stamped .925 sterling silver”. I don’t use PayPal. I will not pay extra for tracking unless shipping is paid by buyer. On the rare occasion I charge for shipping, you could send money order or well concealed cash.
Response through Listia Only. If no response within 7 days, I will relist and keep your credits as per Listia rules. No exceptions. No excuses. No “ I pressed the wrong button”, “I didn’t mean to bid”, “I changed my mind”, “I’m waiting for funds”, “ I didn’t read the full description”, “I thought it was free shipping. If the description reads “AS IS” that’s exactly what it means. No buyer’s remorse.
I carefully pack and personally take all items to my local post office. I do not want to hear another Listian tell me they didn’t receive their item unless you are willing to pay for tracking. Any package not reaching their original destination for whatever reason has, and will eventually be returned to my address. Only then, I will refund your credits. If the item is not returned to my address, then the item was received by the buyer unless they could prove otherwise. I expect the honor system to be followed by all Listians. Many of us know that there are a few members who are not here for the right reasons.
Thanks for bidding.

BRAVO to your bidding terms. as another serious seller, feedback and reputation is so very important, but sometimes people don't always play by the rules; it's sad to reiterate what one would think was "common sense", but like i said, sometimes people don't play by the same rules. so this being said, i wish you luck with your auctions. nice bracelet, very striking.

Thank you. At first I thought I would lose bidders with my statements, but apparently it's keeping the bad weeds out and gainning serious and respectable bidders instead.

i do know my metals i would like to bid on this piece " BUT" you have it listed as silver plated and stamped .925 it can not be both silver plated means they plate a base metal of sort. .925 means that the item is 92.5% solid silver with copper of 7.5% mixed in with it so you see it can not be listed plated and .925 if it has a .925 you should show in pictures any stamp weither it be plated or silver or .925 this takes a lot of the guess work out of it if you do not believe in what i state please feel free to Google .925 silver i am not trying to be a smart eleck just trying to state the facts Thank You

I know what .925 solid sterling silver is. Through lots of research and experience I have found many websites, vendors, and companies that will sell you silver plated jewelry and have no problems putting a .925 stamped on it. They also have no problem promoting them as such to re-sellers who knowingly buy these items with the intent to defraud other buyers. There are thousands of overseas companies (i.e. Ebay) that have no problem providing re-sellers with counterfeit products to the American public, and have no problems re-selling them as originals. And this is not exclusive to jewelry. This extends to clothing, handbags, shoes, etc. This bracelet I bought in Mexico. It was sold to me as sterling silver and it is stamped .925. Is it solid sterling .925 silver? I don’t know, I’m not a metals expert and I do not carry a testing kit when I go on vacation, for that reason I stand by what I said on this auction. Thank you for your concern and taking the time to try to teach me something. I hope I taught you something as well. If you win this item you will clearly see the .925 stamp on it. Which once again, doesn't prove anything to me and that's why I auction it "AS IS". And I don't think you are a "smart aleck", as a matter of fact I think you are a smart person expressing your opinion and asking the questions.

Will you post a pic of the .925 stamp, please? Thx.

Experience has taught me that a .925 stamp doesn't mean anything unlesss is tested. I already experienced this myself. Things given to me as presents will be called "silver", "silver color", "silver tone" and stamped .925, if there is a stamp. Only things I bought myself at reputable stores and were bought as sterling silver stamped .925 I will claim as such. So everything I post is "AS IS", no refund, no returns.

Well, I read the WHOLE description. And I totally agree about some bidders saying they did not receive an item, when there was no tracking. I've only sent one item without tracking and that is the only item said to be not received. The buyer got their credits back. And it was a lot of credits. PayPal offers free tracking and discounted shipping, including first class and parcel post. So, it's a shame you don't use PayPal. Listia will always side with the buyer if you have no proof they received it. That's what I was told when it happened to me.
I love this bracelet by the way. But I only pay through PayPal, so I guess I'm out of luck :(

I only bid on "free shipping items". So I don't need to use paypal . On the 2 occasions that I did charged for shipping, I didn't have a problem sending the money. If you noticed I also (99% of the time) do free shipping. When I was using tracking it didn't stop people from claiming they didn't get the items, They claimed the envelope was empty, and tracking didn't help me recover the "lost items". Yes, I did get my credits back, but I had to personally meet ith the postmaster, write letters, send a million emails to rude and disrespectful people. This was all time consuming and it stressed me out. Then there were all the other excuses I mentioned. Those are the people that really caused me to finally put and end to all the bull crap. For this bracelet I will do free tracking. I just hope it goes to an honest Listian such as myself, because I'll make sure the item gets sent on a timely manner. I package correctly, and take the package to the post office personally. I also keep all my post office records, which are paid with debit card. Thanks for your comments and your advise. I'm sorry you won't be bidding, this is truly my most valuable item so far.

FREE SHIPPING. Of course I'll bid.
My mind had one of those senior moments.
I got so caught up in reading the description and telling you about saving money on shipping, through PayPal. Guess my mind got stuck on concealed cash, money order, etc.
I love your description, by the way. So much familiar truth in it.
Have a great day!

I could totally relate to the senior moments. Except I've been having them since my thirties.

well, as a seller, you have to set out your bidding rules because some people take advantage. when i first started out here on listia, i was bending to this request: can you lower the days? and then, they didn't even bid on the items. so now, i don't even do it, because that was rude. i was also getting very rude comments on my auctions, which i didn't need, because i was giving 100s of items out for FREE and with free shipping, too. i don't leave rude comments on people's listings, unless the shipping charge is exhorbitant ($10 for something that weighs 4 oz.) or i would simply state that pictures would get more bids on a listing, helpful advice. so, after a while, i would block these problem people and enlist the moderators for help, which helps too. being clear about your terms up front and from the get-go, does help weed these people out. wishing you luck on your auctions.

Good for you. I could have mentioned that also, incluiding the "fan begging", but Listia only allowed only so many characters in the description. Thanks for the support and good luck as well.

Good for you! I have been on here daily for 2 1/2 years and there have been a lot come and go and some just want to cheat us or steal from us. I have 3 shoe boxes full with broken, filthy and mis-listed items. Thank you for your honesty. Fanned.
