Questions & Comments
Just to help you out, it's a Ruger Mini-14 not an M14 which is a class III item. In addition the majority of magazines produced for the Mini-14 were made in 5, 10, 20, 30 and 40 round capacities.
yes, it is a ruger min14 clip. says so right on it. a mistake of the keyboard!! but on your comment of a m14 being a class 111 item , that is not really true. a lot of m14 have been sold to civilons because they have been converted to semiauto only fire. if you checkout some of the more reputable of the internet sites for legal gun buying you will find you dont need a class 111 license . just need a ffl holder to order it for you , just like any gun.. but thanks for pointing out the mistake!!!
As for converting an M14 to a non-selective fire weapon you are correct, but once converted the new designation is M1A and not M14. In terms of converting, the weapon can keep the full auto trigger but it cannot keep the secondary sear or the hammer both of those are NFA regulated items. I'm very familiar with these laws as I deal with them everyday of the week.
