This vine is a perennial here in Virginia. They say it flowers in late winter-early spring. Ours gave us a bonus this year and started flowering in November and has flowered continuously all winter. Right now it is unbelievably loaded with flowers. We have had beautiful flowers all winter here in Virginia.
It is beautiful on trellises. In the position we have it, it get the southern sky and a little shade in the summer.
