I planted a few in my garden this year and had a few left over that I thought I would share.
The orange fruit is firm and sweet. These delicious early, heirloom muskmelons yield fruits that are heavily netted with a light rib and slip from the vine when ripe.
Fruits are early and large with thick, salmon-orange flesh. They average 3 1/2 - 5 lbs. each.
They grow and stay sweet in a wide variety of conditions, particularly drought. It is very sensitive to frost. The vines spread to about 10ft. They use a lot of water but should not ever be soggy wet.
Plant in spring (May) on packet.
