There is 3 stack & weigh scales you place them on a flat surface (there's a 1 lb. a 2lb and 3 lb scale) if the weighbow point hits the surface the item is heavier than the weight indicated choose a heavier scale by stacking the scales you can weigh packages up to 6 lbs you go on-line to usps website weigh your item and then you can print the shipping label out on your computer it like skipping going to the post office and standing in line
No it doesn't but it goes by 1-6 lbs of weight you can kind of go by how far it goes down so it goes down half way on the 1 lb then you put down 8 ounces i did pretty well guessing the weight and only had 1 problem with the wrong weight
