To the best of my knowledge it is a probability game. For example, some of the circles have point values, while others say game over. The challenge back in 1989 was to get two cards and challenge a buddy to see whom could acquire the largest point total.

ohhhhh how neat. So a 2 player vs video game played on scratch offs. That's really cool. How hard were these for you to get?

Back in 1989 Nintendo released packs of cards with various Nintendo titles- Super Mario, Zelda, Mike Tyson's Punchout, etc. The set consisted of 60 of these scratch off cards and 33 stickers. It was a very fun set to collect. I have the entire set and finally decided to get rid of my duplicates. I am down to only about 8 or 9 duplicates left and this is one of them.
