I just found out from my jeweler (I went in to have some rings cleaned) that all white gold is plated usually with rhodium to make it whiter and shinier...it's still real gold, but it was a piece of info I wasn't aware of. pretty piece! F/W

When I bought it the tag said genuine pearl in white gold plated setting and chain, but I never wore it and never got the pearl checked.
