is this very heavy? if its like under a pound it can ship first class in manilla envelope for like $2. that would be great and really encourage more bidding if the shipping price could be lowered. at very least it should fit in $5 flat rate shipping box. thanks :)

It isn't that small, the unit itself is about the size of a walkman, the package is awkward and a bit long so it won't fit in a small flat rate box.
