I haven't used it myself but from what I see you bake the bread in the tube and it bakes it in the shape of a heart. I hope this helps :)

I have three of these (different shapes) and they are WONDERFUL! The bread (I usually make a batter/banana bread type in them) bakes evenly and comes out in the shape of the tube. Very unusual and fun!
