Is a liner required for this, meaning you need to put a wax tart IN a votive glass first ? what size is this please. thanks

I do not think a liner is needed, I have used with and without.

I have a few of these and I do not use a liner, you can just put the wax tart(s) inside. You can also use it with a votive in a glass inside and it will warm/melt it. It fits a votive candle in a glass with more than enough room. Hope this helps??
